Historical Note:
Queen Cutlery emerged after Schatt & Morgan’s closure, carrying forward Pennsylvania’s proud cutlery tradition. By the late 1950s, Queen knives were known for their clean workmanship and solid materials. The yellow Delrin used during this era offered a bright, durable alternative to natural materials — ideal for hardworking customers looking for utility and affordability.
Collector’s Note:
Although Queen knives have a devoted following, stockman models from the late '50s are especially sought after for their transitional blend of old-world craftsmanship and mid-century modern materials. A colorful and practical addition to any vintage collection, or a satisfying daily companion for those who appreciate the soul of traditional American cutlery.
