Bolsters are bright with only the faintest signs of storage handling. The included Case collector’s tin is in excellent shape with minimal surface wear.

History Note:
The Trapper pattern has been a mainstay in the Case lineup since the early 20th century, built originally for skinning and general field use. By the 2000s, Case was issuing beautifully finished commemorative editions like this one—bridging their working-class heritage with display-worthy craftsmanship. The red jigged bone handle on this knife is a standout in the Case color spectrum, often sought after by collectors for its vibrancy and warmth.

Collector’s Note:
This is a choice example for fans of Case knives, especially those collecting specific years or color variants. The 6254 pattern remains one of the most enduring and versatile in the Case catalog, and this 2004 red bone edition—with original tin—is ready for display or carry. Whether you're filling a gap in a collection or starting one, this knife has all the hallmarks of classic Case quality.
