This vibrant two-blade pen knife was made by Bridge Cutlery Co. of St. Louis, Missouri, a regional cutlery brand active in the early 20th century. Condition Notes:

History Note:
Bridge Cutlery Co. operated out of St. Louis in the early 20th century and is believed to have been affiliated with Shapleigh Hardware Co.—a major regional supplier and importer. Their knives were often contract-made by firms in the U.S. or Germany, and then stamped with the Bridge Cutlery name. Today, these pieces are cherished for their scarcity, vivid handle materials, and connection to midwestern hardware history.

Knives from Bridge Cutlery Co. don’t surface often—especially in colorful celluloid like this. This is a great example for collectors of early hardware-branded knives, regional American cutlery, or flamboyant 1920s–30s design.
