🧲 Historical Note:
Camillus was the principal supplier of official Boy Scout knives from the 1940s through the 1980s. This pattern—called the “Scout Knife”—dates back to military and utility patterns used during WWII, and was adapted for youth and outdoor use by organizations like the Boy Scouts of America. These knives are symbolic of a time when pocket tools were rites of passage and part of growing up prepared.

🧷 Collector’s Note:
Scout knives from Camillus are enduringly popular with collectors of scouting memorabilia, EDC enthusiasts, and those drawn to American-made tools. With its clean design, functional toolset, and historical Scout shield, this piece is ideal for display or light nostalgic carry.
