A fun little four-knife lot of miniature gentleman’s folders, each with a distinct charm and solid functionality packed into tiny frames. Though these knives may look toy-sized, they’re the real deal—with sharp blades, good snap, and a pocket presence all their own.
One knife features pearlescent MOP-style handles and is tang stamped “Solm” (underlined) and may have once served as an advertising knife—remnants of lettering still visible. Another knife bears a “PAT NO.” marking and strongly resembles a Hammer Brand in design and build.
The green-striped knife stands out with a sleek, Art Deco look, while the smallest of the bunch punches above its weight with solid construction and a keyring attachment. All four knives are mechanically sound; only light signs of age and honest handling are present.

Miniature pocket knives were once common giveaways and travel companions—used for light tasks like letter opening, thread cutting, or citrus trimming. Their compact size made them ideal for pockets, keychains, or gentleman’s vests. Advertising variants were especially popular from the 1930s to 1950s.
