$44.00

Shipping to United States: $6.95

A handsome and well-proportioned two-blade jack knife from Schrade Walden, this Model 307 dates to the late 1940s to 1950s and features beautiful red jigged bonite handles, nickel silver bolsters, and brass liners. Both blades are tight with good snap on the main, and the overall feel is exactly what you’d expect from Schrade in its postwar New York prime.

Specifications:

Maker: Schrade Walden (N.Y. USA tang stamp)

Pattern: 307 Jack Knife

Blades: Two (clip point main and pen secondary)

Length (closed): 2.75"

Handle Material: Red jigged bonite (a durable synthetic bone substitute used by Schrade in the mid-century era)

Bolsters: Nickel silver

Liners: Brass

Condition:
This knife shows honest age and carry wear but remains in solid working condition. The clip blade opens and closes with good snap and no wobble. The smaller pen blade is tight and secure, but its forward snap is weak on opening (no issue on closing). Handles are clean and crack-free. Light patina and peppering on blades, consistent with age. This knife ships wrapped in acid-free archival tissue to help preserve both the blade and handle during transit and storage.

Historical Note:
The Schrade Walden brand was used between 1946 and the early 1960s, with the “Schrade Walden N.Y. USA” tang marking in use during a time of great innovation and quality for the company. This knife reflects the postwar American craftsmanship of that period—when knives were made to last and often carried for decades.

Collector’s Note:
Model 307s from the Schrade Walden years are increasingly hard to find in intact condition. This one—with its deep red bonite scales and clean lines—makes for a great starter piece or a welcome addition to a growing traditional jack knife collection.
