📜 Historical Note:
The dot system began in 1970, and by 1973 Case knives featured seven dots beneath the "CASE XX" stamp. These early dot-era knives are increasingly sought after as they mark the transition into Case's modern era, while still carrying the durability and character of earlier production.
💡 Collector's Note:
The 6279 pattern is a smaller, pocket-friendly variation in Case’s jack knife lineup and is favored by collectors for its symmetry and functional form. This is a classic piece from a golden decade of Case production and a great addition to any traditional American knife collection.
