$54.00

Shipping to United States: $6.95

This 2006 Case XX Yellow Trapper (pattern 3254 CV) is a faithful representation of the brand’s longstanding legacy in American pocketknife tradition. Built for both everyday use and collection, this model features chrome vanadium steel blades and Case’s signature yellow synthetic handle—an icon in the Case lineup.

With two full-size blades (clip point and spey), it delivers reliable utility while honoring the old-school trapper style. The tang stamp shows four dots, dating this piece to 2006. Blades remain tight with very good snap on both opening and closing.

A small cosmetic flaw is present—both sides of the handle show a hairline crack emanating from the middle pin, visible in the photos but not affecting function or structure.

📜 Historical Note:

Case's Yellow Trapper is perhaps the most recognizable knife in its lineup—originally made for visibility in the field and utility in rural life. It was beloved by farmers, hunters, and tradesmen alike. Chrome vanadium (CV) steel remains a top choice among traditionalists for its superior edge retention and easy resharpening, though it develops patina over time.

🧭 Collector’s Note:

With its CV steel, 2006 4-dot tang, and iconic yellow handle, this knife offers great crossover appeal to both users and Case collectors. The hairline cracks are common in yellow Delrin knives of this era and are factored into pricing. A solid mid-2000s piece with enduring design and materials.
