This 1999 National Knife Collectors Association (NKCA) commemorative Saddlehorn Trapper was crafted by W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. as part of their annual club knives. Patterned as the 62100 SS, it features two mirror-polished blades with crisp etching: the main blade proudly bears the NKCA emblem and “1999 National Knife Collectors Association.”
The handles are richly jigged red bone with a nickel silver NKCA shield inlaid on the mark side, flanked by nickel silver bolsters—one bolster stamped “L1463,” marking its limited-edition production number. Brass liners and nickel silver pins complete the build. The knife has never been carried or sharpened and retains excellent snap on both blades.
