This Colonial fruit knife is a fine vintage advertising piece, made in Providence, Rhode Island. The tang is stamped “Stainless Colonial Prov. USA”, confirming its American manufacture. Featuring a serrated stainless steel blade, it was designed for practical fruit and produce work while doubling as an advertising giveaway.

This particular knife advertises Half Moon Fruit & Produce Co., established in 1913, with bright red graphics on one side, while the reverse bears a Melo Glow melons logo. The advertising remains crisp and sharp, a highlight for both knife and ephemera collectors.
