This classic Schrade Uncle Henry 897UH “Signature” pocket knife is a proud example of late American knife craftsmanship. Featuring beautiful Staglon handles with nickel silver bolsters and brass liners, it embodies the rugged elegance that defined the Uncle Henry line. The 897UH pattern remains one of the most iconic multi-blade pocket knives from Schrade’s U.S. production era.

Condition Note:
All three blades open and close with firm snap and no wobble. The handles show no cracks, chips, or shrinkage, and bolsters are bright and clean. A very fine example worthy of any collection, especially with box and paperwork intact. Ships wrapped in acid-free archival tissue to help preserve both the blade and handle during transit and storage.

The Uncle Henry line was launched by Schrade in the 1960s as their premium series, designed under the leadership of Henry Baer. Each knife bore his engraved signature as a mark of quality and dependability. The 897UH became one of the most popular models—compact yet versatile, a favorite among tradesmen and outdoorsmen alike during the 1970s–1990s.
