This vintage Schrade Old Timer 330T Middleman Jack is a classic slice of American pocketknife heritage—compact, reliable, and built with the no-nonsense durability that made Old Timer a household name. Made in the USA before Schrade’s factory closure in 2004, this two-blade jack knife carries the practical, working-man spirit that defined mid-20th-century American cutlery.
The handles are Old Timer’s iconic sawcut Delrin, a textured brown synthetic designed to mimic aged bone while offering strength and stability. The nickel silver bolsters and Old Timer shield add a traditional finishing touch. Both blades—a clip point and a pen blade—retain a clean satin finish with crisp factory geometry. Action is smooth with good snap, and the springs remain tight and consistent.
This knife comes with its original box and paperwork, both showing noticeable wear from age and storage, but still fully intact—an authentic piece of Schrade collecting history. The knife itself is in very good to excellent condition, appearing lightly carried at most, with bright blades and clean handles.
At 3⅜" closed, the 330T is a perfect everyday carry size—small enough to disappear into a pocket, but capable enough for nearly any daily task.

The Old Timer line debuted in the late 1950s and quickly became one of Schrade’s most successful and beloved series. Marketed as “Knives Like Grandpa’s,” Old Timer knives combined affordability with rugged, long-lasting construction. The 330T Middleman Jack was designed as an ideal everyday pocket companion—slim, lightweight, and purpose-built for daily chores, whether on the farm, in the workshop, or around the house. After Schrade’s U.S. factory closed in 2004, American-made Old Timers like this one became increasingly collectible.
🧲 Collector’s Note:
USA-made Old Timer knives remain highly desirable for collectors who appreciate traditional carbon-steel pocketknives and classic American workmanship. The 330T is a staple of the Old Timer line, and examples in strong condition with the original packaging—even worn—offer excellent historical and collector value. This is an ideal addition for Schrade collectors or anyone wanting a dependable, authentic vintage EDC piece.
