This vintage 1977 Boker USA folding knife comes from the celebrated Great American Story Knives – Part II series, a project that honored defining moments in United States history. This edition, titled “Monroe Doctrine,” features a bold banner shield on the handle and an etched primary blade reading “American Proclamation.” At 4" closed and fitted with two working blades, it’s a handsome and historically evocative piece of mid-century American knife craftsmanship.

The handles are smooth black Delrin with nickel silver bolsters, brass liners, and an inlaid serial plate reading 1785. The blades snap well and remain clean, with only light patina typical for 45-plus years of age.
