Vintage Kutmaster R-8 Stockman Pocket Knife – Utica, New York – Circa Mid-Century (3 3/8”)

$45.00

Shipping to United States: $7.95

This vintage Kutmaster R-8 from Utica, New York showcases the clean, practical design that made mid-century American cutlery so dependable. All three blades—the clip, sheepsfoot, and pen—retain most or all of their original factory profile, with bright surfaces and minimal evidence of use. The action is excellent: strong snap on all blades, with no wobble, and only a slightly weaker closing snap on the clip point.

The yellow synthetic handles give it that iconic mid-century working-knife look—simple, durable, and made for everyday carry. A great example for collectors of Kutmaster, Utica cutlery, or classic three-blade stockman patterns.

Historical Note

Kutmaster, the pocket knife line of Utica Cutlery Co., earned a reputation for producing rugged, affordable, American-made knives from the 1930s through the late 20th century. Their R-series stockman patterns were especially popular among tradesmen and sportsmen who needed a versatile everyday tool. This R-8 captures that era perfectly—with quality U.S. steel, straightforward design, and functional reliability.
