This vintage Camillus No. 72 is a well-proportioned three-blade folding knife that reflects the practical elegance of mid-century American cutlery. Compact, capable, and thoughtfully configured, this knife represents the era when Camillus produced dependable pocket knives for everyday work and long service.
The knife features a clip point master blade, paired on the same end with a small angular coping blade, while the opposite end houses a secondary small clip point. Together, the three blades offer a versatile mix suited for general cutting, detail work, and light utility tasks.
The handles are finished in black jigged synthetic, secured with brass pins and framed by smooth nickel silver bolsters. All blades open and close with excellent snap in both directions, and there is no blade wobble on any blade. Measuring 3 5/8 inches closed, this is a comfortable, pocket-friendly size that still feels substantial in hand.
