Historical Note
Remington’s Lumber Jack Bullet Knife series was produced during the 1990s as part of the company’s renewed focus on traditional American pocketknife patterns. These knives drew inspiration from early 20th-century Remington designs, re-scaled for modern collectors who appreciated smaller, more refined folders. The R-4468, produced in 1997, reflects this balance of heritage styling and contemporary craftsmanship.
Collector’s Note
Smaller Bullet Knife patterns like the Lumber Jack are especially appealing for collectors who value classic design in a compact form. This example stands out for its condition, clean handles, and crisp markings, making it a strong addition to a Remington collection or an excellent entry point for new collectors.
